 Lorna Bright, Music Director
Lorna Bright is an upbeat and dynamic motivational speaker, workshop facilitator, musician and singer/songwriter. An eleven-year veteran of the Nashville music business, where she found success as an award winning songwriter, Lorna Bright has worked intimately with such companies as MCA and Sony Entertainment.
Living in the commercial world of Music City, Lorna began to realize the value of music as a tool for spiritual growth. It was then that she “let go of the status quo” and set off on an extraordinary journey of self-discovery. Trekking from Nashville in a converted school bus on what she calls her “magical, mystery tour,” Lorna landed in Arizona, where she has served as Music Director for Science of Mind in Yuma since 1999.
Since then, Lorna has written over 100 New Thought songs, produced and recorded three CDs, authored a book entitled “52 Ways To Let Go of Anything” and a songbook containing easy to learn New Thought singalongs. Her latest CD, “Being”, is an innovative transformational tool featuring Rev. Merilyn Chilleen’s spoken affirmations, treatments and meditations accompanied by Lorna’s original musical compositions.
Lorna Bright has presented transformational workshops for churches and organizations nationwide, including the New Thought Music Symposium in Los Angeles; the Unity Music of the Heart Conference in Austin, Texas; and the Circle of Love Gathering in Atlanta, Georgia. Lorna’s common sense approach, upbeat humor and incredible intensity deliver tangible tools that make a difference in the lives of every person in attendance.
